Question 1

What is Stella Workspace?

Accepted Answer

Stella Workspace is an all-in-one software from Germany that starts with a full RMM: device monitoring, remote support, patch management and antivirus management. Behind it sit CRM, quotes and invoices, accounting, scheduling, tickets, projects and time tracking in a single platform — instead of many separate tools.

Question 2

Is Stella Workspace an RMM software?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stella includes a full RMM with its own agent for Windows, macOS and Linux: real-time device monitoring, patch management, network discovery, a script library, software deployment, a group policy assistant and asset management. Unlike pure RMM tools, tickets, service contracts and billing are directly connected to the devices.

Question 3

Which remote support and antivirus are integrated?

Accepted Answer

Remote support runs through the integrated pcvisit connection — connect with one click straight from the device record or ticket, with ad-hoc sessions even for devices without an agent. For antivirus, Stella manages Bitdefender GravityZone (deployment, status, sync) and additionally shows Microsoft Defender, firewall and BitLocker status of all devices. All from one interface.

Question 4

Who is Stella Workspace for?

Accepted Answer

For small and medium-sized businesses in any industry: trades, agencies, consulting, tax and bookkeeping firms, training providers, service providers, medical practices as well as IT providers and MSPs. The modules can be combined to fit your specific business.

Question 5

What does Stella Workspace cost?

Accepted Answer

There is no fixed tariff grid. The price depends on the modules used and your team size; you only pay for what you use. You get a custom offer in a free demo. There is no setup fee.

Question 6

Is Stella Workspace GDPR-compliant and where is the data stored?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stella is operated in a GDPR-compliant way and hosting is exclusively in Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is included; data is stored and transmitted encrypted.

Question 7

Does Stella support DATEV and ELSTER?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stella offers DATEV export for working with your accountant and an ELSTER connection for electronic submission to the tax authorities. E-invoices (ZUGFeRD and XRechnung) are also supported.

Question 8

Can I try Stella Workspace for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At stellaworkspace.com/en/testen you set up your own workspace in a few minutes and try Stella free for 30 days — with every module and up to 5 users. No credit card is required, the trial ends automatically and does not need to be cancelled.

Question 9

Can I migrate my existing data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Migrating your customer, invoice and master data is part of onboarding and included in the offer. We support you through the switch so you are up and running quickly.
